We custom cut and polish rock slabs, do our own wire-wrapping and create necklaces that showcase one-of-a-kind pendants. We enjoy finding the natural beauty in each stone and create jewelry based on what each stone shows us.

Photography has always been a hobby and we've taken lots of wildlife mugshots. We created a videodisc "Putting The Zoo In Zoology" for the Indiana Department of Education in the late 80's. EcoMugShots features some of our favorite images.
About Us
Alice and Bob
We met at Ball State and have been married over fifty years. We love to travel, collect rocks, attend rock shows and take lots of pictures. Besides our grandchildren favorite subjects are water, mountains, and wildlife. Bob has taken thousands of wildlife pictures since he co-produced the videodisc "Putting the Zoo in Zoology" for the Indiana Department of Education. On his bucket list is the creation of a collection of "eco mugshots" that teachers can access for use in their classrooms.
In 2010, Alice and Bob retired and were gifted an old family rock saw. They started buying rocks, took some classes and Bob began cutting and polishing cabochons. Alice makes bracelets and necklaces with beads that incorporate some of Bob's pendants. We both wire wrap. Bob delights in finding the most unique aspect inside each rock. Custom pendants are currently displayed at Gallery On The Square in Danville or may occasionally be sold at art fairs.
For the last fifty years, we have lived in Hendricks county where Bob worked for Brownsburg schools for 40 years. Alice taught at Danville, and had a career in public relations in Indianapolis. Our home in Avon has a large garage where Bob has a sizeable lapidary shop where he works year round.
